a short, dark and quietly gruesome story from one of the past masters of ASFR, Rotwang.
A woman who is no longer young, but still quite attractive decides she wants to remain beautiful for the rest of her days, no matter what the cost, no matter how radical the method. When shown the proposed means, she agrees without hesitation, although with a hint of wistfullness for all the things she is never going be able to do again. She even insists on an extra measure of gruesome subtraction, just for the sake of authenticity.
ASFR doesn't often overlap with my particular set of fetishes, but this one story did to my great satisfaction. The only things I've found that hit just the right note of sexiness and irrevocable, shivery horror were 'The Surgeon's Tale' (Jerek knows all about this one), and 'Amy's Wish' by john doe.
